How to obtain biodiesel by chemical method?

Biodiesel is currently produced mainly by a chemical , i.e. animal and vegetable fats and ethanol, a lower alcohol such as methanol or transesterification of an acid or basic catalyst and a high temperature (230 ~ 250 ℃) under ( transesterification ) reaction of corresponding fatty acid methyl or ethyl ester , washed and dried to obtain the biodiesel. The biodiesel manufacturing processing line is the same as common oil processing lines. The biodiesel process can produce about 10% of the by-product glycerol.
